Patek Philippe

It's impossible to say without seeing the watch, but with any vintage Patek. . .

. you are talking about a watch worth perhaps a considerable sum (very likely in the thousands or depending on condition, rarity et cetera even tens of thousands of dollars) and good solid repair and restoration work is worth every penny.  If there is one thing many of us have learned the hard way, it is that cheap watchmaking is no bargain!  I think the recommendation to work if possible with the H. Stern agency is an excellent one.

If you are logged in you should be able to see at the bottom of the window where you compose posts, image services through Photobucket.com.  Click on the link and follow the instructions and you should be posting pictures in no time smile .  Basically, you upload from your computer to Photobucket, then copy the URL for the photo.  Once you've done that just click on the button above which shows a tiny mountain (if you hover your mouse cursor over it you will see it's the "insert image" button) paste the image URL into the image URL box, click "submit" and you're done.

Cheers,

Jack
