I like the 5270 case a lot. If the 41 mm are matching with your wrist itβs a stunner imho. And even if the old-schoolers of our forum will complain about this and that of the case and dial, in my opinion this 5270P is a great continuation of the 3970-5970...
I know Patek received a patent for the jumping seconds on the chronograph function. I wish someone would explain what makes this so special? Most of my Chrono's do this. It's a standard on the 7750 based movements. What is it that Patek did special here?
The gear moving the minute hand is spring loaded as opposed to being forwarded only with the gear tooth, so it is a perfect jump of the minute hand, which is slightly less perfect on standard chrono movements.
