Never mind, the dial was not re thought for such a size increase which is for me the biggest issue of the 5130. With the 5230 things are going in the good direction, in my opinion. I still have to see it in the flesh, but from the pictures, I have the fee... 

The watch does look more balanced than the 5130, yes. But I would like to know the actual size of the dial including the ring to compare it with the 5130 one. Not sure that there is a big difference since the 5230 bezel is thin. Thanks! Fx

wonderful review with all details. personally i kinda like the crown guard @ case similar to 5110. is there anything i don't like about the watch - yes of course the price ;-) but probably it is just only for me ! Best, mahesh.,

Nice review. Thanks. Especially the center of the dial really works for me on the 5230. I think the grey face also gives it a more casual appearance than its predecessors. I miss the protected crown a little bit though on this reference.

This piece is on my wish list ! But I would love a "5231" ;-)

Thank you and it complements Mark's review on this model. Just one small point which might be deemed irrelevant but the 5130 is 39.5mm (instead of 39mm as stated in your review). I personally think that the enameled pieces and the 5575G apart, the 5230 is...

5230 is one of the best release during Basel 2016 IMO. absolutely agree with all your thoughts regarding this new reference, especially " it brings together the strengths of the 5110 and 5130 ... while generating its own identity". couldn't agree with you... 

scissors hands because they represent the vintage WT watches. The lack of a crown guard makes it more contemporary. Overall, another winner by Patek ! Cheers, Gordon

Theysucceeded in keeping it classical and traditional but with a very nice touch of modernism. The fonts, the guilloché, the gorgeous hands are very appealing as well in the metal. I have prepared my review for this reference and will post it a little lat...

No, simply no. The hands dont work for me. The centre of the dial lacks the 5110's finesse and the 5130's clarity. It reminds me of a reptile or turtle. The font of the city names - unneccessarily playful, the old sand serif was much more in line with the...
