Does anyone have the link of the original article in (I presume) French or German? Even if I'm skeptical as Mr. Stern speaks a pretty decent English IMHO (at least for a non-native like myself, of course).

And being Mr. Stern fron Switzerland he should (or must) speak German perfectly. Unfortunately I do not so if some German native speakers could share their impressions about some that could eventually be lost in translation it would be nice.
