to me, I am Chinese but I don't like sport watches with light coloured dial. None of my "male" friends have sport watches in white dial unless it is a rugged design like a Rolex explorer II or a PAM. Dress watches are OK with white dial, I love enamel white dial on dress watches.
At first sight the white dials look pale
Not very impressed by the new white dials. I think it's just a concession to the market everybody of the watch industry is trying to please: Chinese customers! They prefer light dials.
