Charles Stern bought the Patek Philippe company in the 1930s as the company was on the brink of extinction due to the Great Depression. Henri Stern was sent to NYC in 1934 and the agency is the American distribution point and service center. HSWA can service most all Pateks except some super high end complications and some select vintage models. So HSWA is in effect Patek's North America Head quarters.

I doubt UP* has liablity above the stated value
of the shipment as designated on the shipping documents unless the police find something. Furthermore, UP* specifically denies any liability for and refuses to carry jewelry including watches. Did you have third party insurance?

maybe as word spreads someone will come forward with the necessary tip which can bring your watch back to you. After all people talk and it a small world for these rare Pateks.
