..... looking at this watch, i have to admit, i am very confuse as to how we should define this timepiece.
Be it a jewelry bracelet watch ? or a gentleman dress watch ?
this watch has similarities of a Patek 3820, with the addition of a partial gold bracelet.
Your current piece looks like it needs some fixing up, polishing as it is clearly been used, probably overhaul as well.
Due to its size, many probably think this is more a woman's watch rather than a mens watch.
There isn't much of an investigation, go with your heart, your wallet inside your pocket will make that decision for you.
One final note : it isnt that rare.

It is a mans watch from the early 90's and Patek Philippe..
..did not sell too many watches in the early 90's so it could be rare, it would have to be very cheap and only buy it if you really like it.
