Patek Philippe

I like Patek world time watch very much. 5131/1P is my favorite world time watch. Which world time watch model is your favorite world time watch? ...  

.....each of those watches are so different that it really is like comparing different references across all. I think all of them are extremely special. If you asked which would I like most for myself if i was only allowed one, then it would be the 5131P.... 

I try other world time models after I take 5131/1P off from my wrist. I always want to wear 5131/1P again, especially the summer time.

Very nice. My favorite is actually the one I do not see above! 5131J! But they are all so wonderful frankly.

It will get warmer when you wear the metal bracelet watch for a while.

R is my choice! If I can create a new reference, I would combine all three with R's dial, P's case & bracelet for the heft, and 5575 for the moon, a "grail" WT "5531" Cheers, Gordon

Love the 5131R metal and dial.

1) is too heavy, 2) does not match the watch well, and/or 3) makes the watch unnecessarily expensive ? Or other reason?

Could have made a better looking bracelet.

There is one thing that I don't like the bracelet is his buckle. A little difficult to use. I prefer Rolex buckle. Overall 5131/1P looks quite nice to me.

... I wouldn't have the 5131-1/P-001 any other way. Except for my wife's various 24/7's and my Nautilus pieces the only other Patek Philippe watch I have with a bracelet is 5180/1G-001. I don't really know but it seems like the designers put a lot of thou... 

I think PP designer made a right decision to choose bracelet instead of leather strap. Bracelet is very useful and unique. This makes 5131/1P very different from other 5131 models.

The price of 5131/1P is much higher than other 5131 models. I don't like the price too, but it is a nice watch to collect and wear it every day.

I used to like 5131G the best before I have R and P. Now I change my mind.

As to a favourite, well you always want what you can’t have so I vote P. They are all winners.👍

It tooks me around 8 years to collect these wonderful watches.

Does anyone know if the lugs for this watch will be suitable for a leather PP strap? Any lucky owners tried to fit a leather strap so far?

I ordered yellow leather strap. I will try it when I receive the new strap.

All of the above are very special in their own ways. The 5131/1P is quite different with the portrayal of the Arctic polar cap. The 5131R has a special warmth to it with the Pacific Ocean dividing Asia/Australia from the Americas.

My favourite is 5575. I find the moonphase is really stunning and unique to be shown on the main dial

truly magnificent collection! my favorites are 5575, 5131 G & P. if i had to choose only 1, then 5575 by a very thin margin. i love the case & lugs design of the 5575. they're all winner IMHO enjoy them in great health. cheers
