As I said before I wanted to get 5275p-001 for it's rarity because of limited numbers, the unique features and technology. I requested my AD back in November to get it for me. No response from them. So, I wonder when people say it all depends on my relationship with my AD. I do not know what is involved in that arena. I do not know how to please them more than what I have done.(This year I have bought 2 watches - annual and perpetual calendar) I also have heard that Patek won't consider allocating an application piece unless I have 4 to 5 complicated watches. So, I will appreciate, if any of you patek experts have any suggestion on how to build more effective relationship with my AD in order to acquire my wish list.

I feel I should have ref 5204p-011 because it is a chrono and not too big for my wrist.

Lastly, 5078r-001 a minute repeater. It is simple and classic and in rose gold. I have read that rose gold is the proper metal for minute repeater. I like 5078p which is black in platinum. However, the chimes are not the same as with 5078r

If I get a chrono or jumping hour I will be good. Getting a minute repeater will be icing on the cake. It may just turn out to be a wish list..

Wy not siply getting a 5130 or 5110 rather than runnnig after an already sold out ref?

You will certainly have to hunt these refs on the second market, then have to pay a solid premium. Go for the normal references, they have a lot of charm and appeal, unless if excluvitiy is the only thing which excites you, then... be prepared to pay. A l...
