I Have an opportunity to buy 1 year pre-owned Patek 5204/1R-001.
As you know this is a watch with black dial and gold bracelet.
I am wondering as to why such a watch which is hard to get new.. since it is an application piece.is available for resale so quickly.
and whether the collectors out there are disliking something about this reference.
Need Help on few issues such as
Does the Patek warranty carry over to the new owner and can the new owner register the watch with Patek.
Any idea about the depreciation factor on such grand complication Patek reference. I would appreciate opinions and experiences.

Saw the watch at two dealers in Germany and you could have just bought it if you liked it. Normal watch for all buyers.
