... bought one myself about 3 weeks ago - it´s 36mm diameter and have a second one "oversize" with a diameter of 37mm and the cal240 - those watches are amazing - so simple and elegant - my absolute grail watches. Just about 10 turns should get it going. Then once it is going wear it .. The watch will get wound by your motion and the power reserve will go up during the day nicely to the maximum. The caliber 28-255 requires 650 turns per day in both directions .. Cl...

Thanks for the answer! I have tried 15-18 turns and used it during the day. Every night I take my watch off and after 3 or 4 days the watch has stopped during the night. I thought maybe 15-18 was to few turns but I maybe have to send it back to Patek agai... 

Do you sit at a desk all day?

It is possible, although unlikely, that you are simply not moving around enough to wind the watch fully while you wear it. You might try experimenting by wearing it or moving it around quite a bit (think in terms of causing the rotor to revolve about 1500...
