As far as when to start it to track your 2nd time zone, feel free to engage it at any time; unlike the primary hour and minute hands, your chronograph has no involvement with the date mechanism.

5980 running on 2nd timezone

Just wondering if I keep the Chrono on 5980 running all the time as someone suggeted to use it for 2nd time zone, will it be harmful to the watch ? and does it mean I should wait until midnight to do it ? Can anyone explain me how ? Thanks.
