Hi, I also have small wrists ( 6.5inches) but the Nautilus IMO is the best fitting watch for me size wise. However, on
the strap that came with the watch I had to ask the AD to punch an extra hole for a better fit. Thereafter, it was perfect.
Your friend should have no problems with it.
