There has been so much discussion about the 5970P and the 5070P in recent weeks that I thought it useful to put the two together. The 5970? Over-hyped. The 5070P? Movement too small for the case? Well, here are the two together. There is no question that ...

5970 and 5070 certainly two of the most desirable Patek references ever. And I would tend to agree with you--I think the 5070P in particular is my very favorite Patek.

The wait is killing me....Next month I am told........The 5970p will be a good friend to my 5970r.... Although the 6263 will have to move down a row. Enjoy those beauties you should have a big smile on your face right about now M....

Reminds me of Jimi Hendrix. Patek told me that there is only one version of the moonphase and the say it's dark blue. Very dark blue to me...

ofcourse my pick would be the 5070 P Would love to have a 5970 but I'm one of those who prefers the 5970J (I know we're a minority) But I could live with a 5970P too LOLOL 2 VERY nice pieces you got, congratulations !
