Those were the great days when PP hand finished their movements and did not cut corners to reduce costs (and increase production). Compared to today's mass-produced Calatravas.... Hopefully PP gets back to proper quality production for their Calarava mode...

There are so many things to admire about this watch, starting with those leaf hands. And the blue second hand, so piquant among the other tones. Love it!

This rare pan pie dial, the large no logo crown typical for this period, the enamel signature, the blued central second (actually very rare on Calatravas and even more on the 570)… what’s not to love here ? 😍😍 It reminds me furiously my 2508 which has exa...  

It is presently at the spa with PP in Geneva for just regular service

I only have for it to come back from Geneva where it is now for service
