It took me awhile to understand and visualize your instructions but I finally figured it out and tried it. It works and it helps a lot! Thanks for the tip. Appreciate it. 


Luckily for me the side with the safety clasp is not tight so I can remove that normally, and then use your method to remove the other side.

blade and push your finger towards the center of the clasp. That force will usually cause that element to pop up quite easily. Eliminates attempting to lift the element up. Hope that helps.
