That's never nice when it happens
Hope it will be fixed as early as possible so you can enjoy it back on your wrist.
Meanwhile, I think it is of course always nice to have another watch, next to it as it allows changing from time to time. I think that should be the main motivation.
You should get another watch if you really like and want it. Any other "practical" reason may be more risky as it can of course lead to a nice surprise you never thought would happen, or it can be just money spent without enough return in pleasure.
Hence, if you have another watch in mind that you really like, then it could be a perfect opportunity. So, I would suggest to go and have another look at the watches you liked in the past to see if you're willing to take the plundge.
If finally nothing is exciting enough, you'll better be waiting for the return of your 5130.
About your choices, you seem to be really attracted by this 5196G (or 5296R you already experiences and you still feel you want one again) and from your past posts, you seem to be more into classical watches and I feel it might pelase you more.
The Aquanaut (or Nautilus etc...) is very different and I don't feel you're excited about it. This is definitively something to try on as Aquanauts and Nautilus are surprising but don't go for that just for change or other unpassionate reasons. That's how I would do if I were in your place.
The 5110R is my favorite 5110 and I love it too.
You seem to have found many references you like quite much and they are all attractive regarding your tastes (simpler traditional 3 handers).
The newer references may allow you to look at the movement (5296) while others like the 5196 may not.
For the vintage, you should try the size and control it feels right for you, otherwise it can be great value for money if chosen well (serviced, guenuine etc...).
Cheers, Mark
