I had the opportunity to see this Patek Ref 533 during one of my watch shopping sessions.... Yellow Gold, 33 mm, but it looks bigger in the real, circa 35 / 36 mm, due to its open dial and these long and thin lugs which are magnificent. The dial is a summ...

I think with steel is much better but more expensive

With such a beauty, I would not mind wearing it at all as I am more used to limited sizes than large ones (with one exception as you know..., hehehe ! ). Also for the color of course I love the steel versions but yellow gold for such vintage one goes very...

Just recently I was watching Hitchcock's "Rope" movie and it came to my mind how big the padded shoulders are of man wearing suits in the movie, how big the reverse are on the jackets and how wide the trousers are. And than I had the watches of that time ...

"shopping" ! What did you get from the trip ? For a simple guy like me, instead of baton hour markers, I would prefer "dots" to further simplify the dial given the tracks and sub-dials already make the dial comes alive. Cheers, Gordon

...for every tastes. As far as I'm concerned, this one is very close to perfection: the subdials, the scale, the applied markers and numerals, color combination... Of course I would find the Arabic numerals a great choice too, white metal, sector dial... ...
