Some scammer named PPclinic used my 3970G Black Dial picture and post his FS ad on CM. He also photoshop another member's 5970J and made it into 5970P and posted it FS. I know he also had few other watches FS such as 5070P, 5960P, AP rubberclad RG, 5980 e... 

We started a discussion about the ROO but then he stopped emailing, for no reason, now I know...

Sold DYLANAIDAN one of my Patek´s. He is in Malaysia. Sent me a bank check which turned out to be a forgery. Fortunately, I still have the watch.

Too many scammers and too many stolen or forged watches nowadays, I am an old fashioned guy, I only have confidence in a reputable AD.

I guess my big question is: Why would anyone take the risk of buying a new Patek on any of these internet Markets? I can see preowned but who are you buying from? I just know it's much safer buying from an Authorized Dealer. You have total safety. I just ... 

However we do have many trusted and genuine sellers on this forum. All it requires from the buyer, is too carry out some research. Recently, thanks to the moderators I was warned about a scammer and thus avoided parting with several thousands GBP's

If a deal is to good to be true, it is. With a simple yahoo search anyone can figure out a reasonable range for the correct pricing of almost anything. So if an item is priced way below market its most likely a scam. This watch community is rather small a...
