I do not have a DSLR but a nice point & shoot (Sony HX1) – hope it can do the job...
I just need you to teach me how to not frighten the AD with such a device. He/she may well assume it’s a “watch trap” LOL!!!

39.5 isn't indeed very big but I could live with it I would not wear e 36 mm watch but everything between 40 and 44 is imo perfect. So an exception to 39.5 won't be the problem

I'm sure it's possible with professional stuff but it's also possible with cheap crap LOL I took these 5 minutes ago and it took me only a few seconds so the Rolex sub picture could be better if I took a bit more time But that's all you need ... a camera ...
