I pulled it out again some days ago. Once set day, date and month by observing the procedure that has to be followed by the book as it is quite illogical, I realize again how much a good and fantastic wrist companion it is.

On this model it came later and on the following model
with only 1 hour counter it was replaced by a simple pin buckle.

Announced that the first Platinum version was the rarest. That would be interesting I think even Geneva can’t understand why the original isn’t more popular. To be fair to them they have featured it in their Magazine to try. Time will tell but it is still...

The 5960g is on my short list for next watch. I’m looking for a versatile PM piece that can easily be worn casually. I think the 5960 nails this. Haven’t seen one in person yet so glad to hear others say it’s even better in the metal.
