There is a good reason
The pushers are so big. Pilots had to wear gloves because of the cold cockpits and crowns/pushers/shrongraph buttons had to be larger unless you wanted to take your gloves off every time something needed to be changed. The 5524 is following the original theme much like the large crown on a Zenith or IWC pilot watch.... Think of it as a conversation starter and you may like th pushers a lot more ;-)...Jim
