A lot has been discussed about this 5960. Even since the release in 2014 for the /1A version, there are many complaints about the shiny 5 link bracelets and even threads to discuss how to swap into the leather strap version, particularly by a big collecto...  

I think the bracelet and the whole ensemble just works, and this 5960A is in a fine class within the PP classics. Huge congratulations and looking forward to a photo next to its brother in the near future!

But I think it wears very nice and comfortable, not need to worry about hairline scratches since it is shiny.

Unfortunately, sometimes we have to pay up although we would rather not to for certain things we desire. Been there done that, although I would have preferred not to. Enjoy it in the best of health.

There is always a first for many things. Maybe a lesson learned not to wait when we like a watch but today’s situation becomes tricky….they don’t have watches for us to buy, lol….or bundles which I am not playing the game. With that, now I fully understoo... 

At least it seems like things are beginning to cool down a bit, so hopefully the speculators exit the scene and things can begin to regain normalcy. I'm also exhausted with ridiculous second hand prices on cars and watches. But like you, I was not immune ... 

Hopefully ADs will start to remember and realize who are the real customers.

I won't be there to prop them up if they fall. These are watches not necessities and for the most part we have a pretty good sized collection where we don't really need another watch.

Now I can have the best of both worlds on the 5960, imho….exclude the one offs or football clubs 😁

This broke my rule of not getting redundancy but I see so much differences between these 2 so I went with it.

Really happy for you to be able to get hold of one, this is becoming a unicorn if not already.... Do try swapping the bracelet out for a strap. The 5960/1A is incredibly versatile!

If I don’t have the P, I’ll definitely try that, but will have to go back and search for the early recommendations by members and order the strap first….or maybe the one like 5960G will work. Thank you.

This is one of those journeys that many have experienced…just very very rare for me.

Awesome incoming! Watch looks “brand new” and being SS will definitely be easier to wear. I guess it also depends on the weather where you live. I prefer bracelets to straps due to the humid summers. Wear it in good health and congrats!!🍾🎊

I’m very particular buying preowned because I took great care of my watches, so this is another reason I prefer brand new. This bracelet is super comfortable, should be similar to your 5131/1Pmless the weight. Thanks my friend…now I open myself to more op... 

With your recent mega pickups from the other discontinued pieces, this seems a bargain, maybe it’s time to check it out.
