I can only imagine what internal R&D would result in this derivative offering, but if the data is there and Thierry’s sons are involved, then this collection could make sense. The strength of PP’s legacy is such that people would never abandon them. ...

A Lange homage, no? Looks odd on a Patek. I’m reserving full judgement until I see it in person, but so far unimpressed.
Just realized, for years i've been talking about Patek Philippe's possible new Connoisseur Series of movements.
This could be PP's opportunity into modern true independent horology / watchmaking. Ok, syre, perhaps not as curved as Rexhep Rexhepi, yet true beauty and visual balance plus exquisite classic handcrafting techniques.
I’d warm up to it if they lost the huge center link.
