involve detailed setting of the functions is a watch winder really necessary? It's pretty simple to wind and set a 3 or 4 complication watch. By no means am I saying winders aren't necessary, I only asking if they are.

Thanks Bill - Bought the mini-watch winder for my one Patek. Should have gotten the one that has the battery-operated option, but still good.
Battery operated allows you to keep it running in your safe.
But there are som great looking option for multiple winders. Enjoy.
