Tomorrow I have the chance to see a Calatrava 3445 white gold in the metal. I would be interested how the forum is judging on this model in general, not on the specific watch on the pics, which is in very good condition I think. Is the 3445G a significant...  

I like the 3445 Calatrava, but I do not "love" it. I think it is a beautiful reference that captures the spirit of the Calatrava. As a first piece in vintage Calatrava territory, I think its a nice choice. Much depends on how you want to view it. Patek ma...

yes, that is a perfect beautiful watch, but prices are above 50k versus 15k of 3445 so in the price region of 15k, that is a good decision if you also take manuals into considerations: 570 can be an idea? ...  

I will see tomorow if I like it on my wrist or not. If yes, the next thought would be if this ref. is the right way to start vintage PP. Manuals are too flat, I tried several refs. like 570, Amagnetics, etc. many times. Simply too flat.

Tree pictures of the front, no pic of the back and the movement. hard to say anytthing. It is a risk to by an old watch, may be the movement is damaged from water. Is it a screwed down case, it is always more expensive. If you like it, and it is good buy ...

It’s a nice Calatrava, but I feel there are many more interesting choices from that era. I would suggest a steel 3466. It has the same movement as the 3445. As far as size, my wrists are 7.5” and I am comfortable wearing 34-35mm Watches. Good luck! ...

Surprisingly, the small size didn’t disturb the positive impression at all. I was wearing jacket and shirt when trying it on my wrist and with this attire the 3445 work well for me. I like the look of the model with its slightly thicker case and the date ... 

I think this watches use cases made by Borgel/Taubert, and I find this understated elegant cases to grow on you slowly. I completely understand you that there’s a feeling difficult to explain in words, the symmetry, the proportions, the different finishes...
