A quick answer to your questions about the Aquanaut 50xx vx 51xx...
The cases are now 38mm and 40mm. Previously there were 3 sizes, and now only 2.
The dials have evolved. The current series has a more subtle dial with the grid being less prominent or raised than before.
The colour of the dial is also subtly different, not matt black like before.
The 51xx series does not have a '3' at 3 o'clock and the space is wholly taken up by the date window.
The clasp is also different. The newer clasp is more of a deployant style, while the older clasp is simpler. Both look almost identical when closed.
Now I just need to go take some pics of the two different Aquanauts. I have the 5165 (38mm) and 5066 (36mm).
