What a timing!
I tried it on today at my AD and will most likely pull the trigger early next week. In the metal, the watch is really stunning, in particular the dial. The proportions of the case are beautiful as is its finishing. The movement is pretty too, and special (for more details, please refer to Mark's review). Legibility maybe a little bit problematic in the beginning but it's not a real issue for me. I don't know why I have been ignoring this beautiful watch for quite some time. Having seen it in the metal changed everything (and it's a special piece in PP's collection for sure). Best, Volker

yes, the a'calendar feature doesn't fit the aesthetics. esp. the date window falls off the place - IMHO. Best, mahesh.,

I find it a little bit strange as well. But it is the same issue with 5205, 5905 and 5960.

and I got to play with it this past Spring. Great presence, great weight. Case and dial are beautifully executed. If you like Regulateur dials and you're a fan of PP, it's a no-brainer.

Personally I struggle with regulator layout but probably as I have not yet had the pleasure of owning one. No doubt something the eyes get used to quickly! Good luck!

the first regulateur I recall being much fascinated by was the Vacheron Malte Dual Time Regulateur. This was around 2004 but it was far above my budget at the time. Still think it is gorgeous...

Watchme, the Regulator does not use the cal. 240 + an Annual Calendar module. Actually, PP has developed the brand new cal. 31-260 for the 5235.

As for the limited production of this model, it means limited not unique, how many has Patek made or is making per year I do not know. But the term « limited » comes directly from a conversation I had with Patek.

Brushed blue dial is simply stunning!
The regulater looks is one of a kind for sure...its not for everyone. I've had it for over 1.5 years too and still loving it. I normally get bored with my watches quite fast, but not this.
