You are right Mark...

 

I've been in the market for a dual time watch for awhile now... Had a few wrist time with about 3 to 4 brands, the multi time zones and GMTs among others.

It so happens that the 5164 was available during one of my visits to the boutique and this one spoke to me. The build quality were well beyond my expectations, the colour and balance of the dial, simply beautiful! And the rest is history as one would say...

As to why it was kept unworn, well, I was just tied with too much stuff and rarely had time for myself to indulge, until last Friday.

And as to the other timing, well... it was a promise I made to myself some eons ago that when I retire, I'd give myself a nice little gift. So now with the kids all grown up and on their own, it would be time soon for me to flex my wings once more. So I guess a PP Travel Time would be most appropriate for me to mark this moment in my life.

Owh, by the way, B&W photos are my favourite!

Indeed it\'s a great piece from an awesome house. I\'m still getting used to the \'rubber\' straps but I must say it does feel comfortable to the wrist. For sure, I\'ll post some photos from time to time.
