Sharing with you all my first PP. A 5235G that I purchased in the grey market last November. It’s one of those watches that stuck to me when it was first released but soon after discontinued in white gold. A red gold variant is now available with a handso...  

I must admit the buckle is a bit hard to use. Rolex still has a better clasp.

The layout is interesting and hope you got used to reading the time quickly. Love the strap and great thinking in getting rubber for the tropical 🏝 weather 👍

Or does take some getting used to. I would have preferred all hour markers marked by arabic or numeral numbers as opposed to indices as I sometimes mistake it for half hour markers.

Then i want to thank you for your report concerning the strap. I like the Strap and thought about buying one with that lining, too. Is the lining noticable different in daily use comparing to a regular leather strap? In particular when it is hot out there... 

Although it may take a while for it the soften and adjust to the shape of your wrist. I do notice the watch off center from my wrist quite often.

A unique beat rate? Hey I didn’t catch that. Can you explain? Is that valid for all advanced research with silicone spring in their movement?🤔

I’m not entirely sure, but I do remember reading how this movement was made for this watch. Correct me if I’m wrong, no other PP has all these silicon parts in its movement. It’s quite nice to see the blue silicon parts under a loupe.

I have the regulator in white gold also (prefer it to the red), upgraded to the deployant, but as you note, the normal strap as provided by the dealer just doesn't fit right. Could you please post the parameters of the strap you ordered here (length, thic...
