Before and After Yesterday

This photo was taken in 2020, after storms raised the San Diego River water levels. You had to leap to take the floating bridge across.



This photo was taken yesterday, from the same angle, after our recent weather and after the weather app promised "the storm has passed"



Our normal river crossing points were all washed out.   

Here's the old dam on the river, taken after the big storms back then

and here it was yesterday from the same angle

Finally, a happy bird busily catching flies and other tiny insects as the rough water stirred them up
