How about sharing it with all of us Please?
After a frightening episode with mildew and mold last spring (due to cracks in the wall), we did lots of sealing, cleaning, scrubbing, swearing, and finally have resorted to a de-humidifier.
We run it every evening after we go to bed and the electric rates go down.
It gets a couple gallons of water out of the air in 6 hours, and that's enabled us to have humidity levels around 50% in the house. Apparently mold / mildew can't live under 60-65% in our area.
I've also installed a couple humidity sensors so we can see if outside is lower, which frequently is the case. Then we open doors and windows.
We can range from 30-75% outside depending on the temperature and pressure -- and whether wind is off the ocean or the desert.
