actually I was in the film and camera buildings, but walked through the Shinjuku East (Main) building 1F just to browse.
Another enjoyable "Tokyo" series... for some reason the individual in the first photo seems familiar.
I have always been attracted to the Shinjuku-Harajuku/Omotesando-Shibuya area and have a preference for Meiji shrine rather than Asakusa temple... personal choices.
JR East announced recently that the Harajuku Station building, a wooden structure constructed in 1924, will be replaced by a modern building prior to the Olympics in 2020... I have to get down there and photograph the current station dating from 1906...
