…was sitting in a quiet corner between meetings on the phone with a specialist at Sothebys while trying to bid on a Vianny Halter Classic. I stopped around US$30k (including buyers premium) and I recall it sold for maybe US$35k or so. That was pre COVID and just as Vianny and Indies more generally were beginning to pop.

I wouldnt mind paying a premium to stay in a star wars or space odyssey (minus HAL) themed hotel!
