Spend some time in the studio today - still work in progress I find so much inspiration in the world of watches! ...  

I always think of serious watch people as a bit stodgy and stuffy so your painting is a good reminder that this hobby draws people from all walks of life .

This is also the only place i share my work because here are all enthusiasts about all kinds of stuff - i guess thats the connection

Both require an eye for composition, detail, and honesty... It's been said that the photographer starts with a full slate and selects, while the painter starts from 'nothing' and builds... not sure. I guess 'work in progress' is a good way to describe bot... 

And its the enthusiasm that connects us even if its not for the very same thing
