You would think that a major camera mfg could eliminate P&S shutter lag if they wanted to... people are always griping about it on internet forums... but then again what don't people gripe about on internet forums. So there must be a reason for shutte...

Agree that a P&S is convenient... I use mine for restaurant photos with friends... I surprised myself as hand held at 1/13 second is not bad... even given a focal length of 5.8 mm Casey
