Wristshots with the iPhone 16 Pro?
Until late last year, my phone was an iPhone 14 Pro. With its improved camera, it took great watch wristshots.
Late last year, I upgraded to a new iPhone 16 Pro. Presumably, the camera is even better. But I seem unable to get a good wristshot with the camera now. Whether in the new macro mode--which the phone seems to quickly shift into for wristshots--or in the standard mode, I just can't get the clean, focused shots that I used to get with the older model.
Has anyone else experienced this and, if so, has anyone figured out a way to resolve the problem?

I can get very good shots with the 16.
I think there might be a problem with your lens. Maybe a crack or something is preventing it from focusing? Here are example shots with an iphone 16 ...
I use portrait mode on 2x zoom 🤷♂️
My pictures are clear but I’m no photographer so roll with what I got. My last wrist shot with these settings .. ...

It’s hard to provide accurate samples because the timing, of course, is different, but I’ll see if I can put something together. And I’ll give the 2x portrait approach a shot. Thanks again!
