Assurance about one Piaget craft allows appreciation of another
I agree that the gemsetting work is amazing in technical and aesthetic quality.
The assurance of the watchmaking craft and superlative movements from Piaget allows you to just pay attention to the dial and bezel work.
For other brands, the worry about movement quality would distract from the appreciation of the dial work.
This can also be seen with the enamel work. As customers, we know the Piaget watches only contain Piaget movements so we only need to care about the enamel quality......which, is superb, of course!
