The 28 seems more interesting the more I look at it. But my preference would have to go towards the 10. The 10 in the alligator strap I feel is one of the most versatile RM pieces available. Plus as a first RM (it is your first right?), I personally would go with the one thats more towards its RM roots!
But if the 28 speaks to you in a way that the 10 doesn't, thats all that matters

its the right choice if you like it more
no one can tell you wich is a better choice except you. and from what i see you made the right choice that you want enjoy it in the best of health after all , all RMs are right choices

I remember wandering around a shop for an hour with two different RMs one on each wrist. It's never easy! I didn't buy either in the end...
