That's true.
I try not to loose touch with the fact (for me) that having a portfolio of expensive watches is only further obligation to demand and support social justice. I can't drop major coin on something that feeds my ego without appreciating my blessings (and often raw dumb luck) and at the same time being a generator of goodness and blessing to others.
I dig the ingenuity and beauty of watches created by brilliant minds; I really do. But they are only things that we all, someday, leave behind. It's the stuff that you can't leave behind that matters. Experientially, I believe you and many of our fellow Purists know this to be true. Thus endeth the sermon
