The Panerai 311 was more of my first proper watches, and while i'm no expert in movements etc, it does seem to operate amazingly well, its buttery smooth, and the 8 days is tremendous - it really does last 8 days! And the fact that its titanium makes it so much better, its very comfortable.
The AP is steel and just much heavier - lord knows how people wear these things in gold!
Haven't sold the Mare Nostrum yet no, though i think it will probably go....if i get a good price, but i don't need to force it, no problem if i end up keeping it....
very much looking forward to some RM exploration in New York in a few weeks.....Motion in Time seem to have some interesting pieces....

While I'm not a huge RM fan I must say the carbon fiber works extraordinarily well in this watch.
