Skip the boutique, you can get whatever you want this way ...

 

Why would you want to play their little game adding your name to some wait list or wish list or whatever, and then wait an indefinite period of time for it? You can get pretty much any RM you want online, with no wait at all, and it doesn't even have to be second hard; you can be the first real owner.  There is also much more availability online, since you should be able to find everything RM currently offers and almost every other watch they have ever made.  Heck, even the incredibly rare RM004 is not too hard to find online.  Pretty much any RM you want you should have not much trouble finding.  These days, visiting a boutique is boring, since pretty much all they have to show you is watches nobody wants.  If someone wanted it, they would have sold it.  Occasionally, you might get lucky and get to see something that just came in that the customer hasn't yet picked up.  RM really needs to rethink their boutiques and find a way to have on hand at least one of every model they currently sell.  I haven't, of course, visited every RM boutique, but I've visited a few in the US and Europe and they are all boring.

Looking to purchase first RM11-03 Ti

Hi guys looking to purchase the above. This would be my first RM. How easy or hard will this be to purchase from boutique. I’m happy to put deposit down and wait, no rush - is this possible, how hard if at all are these to acquire? Cheers R

Somehow, I just don't see a RM customer buying an Omega instead ...

Can you really imagine an RM customer going and buying an Omega instead, because they couldn't find the RM they want down at the boutique? I'm sure that happens about as often as a Ferrari customer ends up settling for a Toyota Corolla when they don't fin...

From my experience with the boutiques (at least the boutiques I have visited across various countries), its not a question of how long you wait, its a question of what else you buy. They don't take any deposit. They don't have a 'wait list'. Instead, they...

But, the point is that in 15 seconds I found several "Richard Mille RM 11-03 Titanium" online. I personally have 0 patience waiting for anything in life. 15 seconds is about all I can bear Eric

He will have to get something else first - probably six figures and something he does not really want in the first place. So?

I do not know for a fact but my friends who collect RM say it is impossible to buy any model from a boutique. I dont know how that works. I havent been to an RM boutique. And the 11-03 seems to be among the more popular entry level pieces so its grey mark...
