The fact that there are so few in existence (130 estimated) already makes it highly collectible, but consider this ...
There are essentially two lines of RM watches:
A - The ones like RM002, RM003, RM004 which are made by R&P and have very limited production, and are thus rare, very expensive, and beyond the budget of all but the wealthiest watch collectors
B - The ones like RM010 & RM011 which are made by Vaucher and have considerably larger production runs, and while still expensive, are within the budget of considerably more watch collectors
Since RM011 is more reasonably priced and produced in much greater numbers than RM004, it is not surprising that RM011 has become the most popular RM sold.
The RM011 took off when 400+ orders for RM004 could not be fulfilled in a reasonable amount of time with only 15-20 made per year. Furthermore, there are many collectors who bought RM011 and didn't even consider buying a RM004, because it was way out of their budget.
Here's where the irony comes in ... Probably few collectors who bought RM011s realized that they could have bought a RM004 in mint condition for the price they paid for their RM011. At least this was true while the RM004 was still in production.

truly limited
Most limited editions are limited in the sense that there is only one particular case made, but there may be lots of limited editions all with the same movement. In the case of the RM004v2, it's 130 total of the same movement! Eric von Schonberg

For me , I'd rather choose to simply take pleasure of the watch & see the movement . not playing with it. because , when something wrong with the chrono , i mean the split seconds. it would be a trouble & have to wait send in to service center for...
