Stunning watch
Great pics, like you say there is so much going on in the dial you could sit and stare at it for ages. Now am I being a bit dim here but it looks like the face of the watch isnt sealed around the tourb...pics make it look like there is a gap all the way round it. ... sorry if thats a really silly thing to say but I am unfamiliar with tourbs, but surely it doesnt stick out through the watch face?..is it just the way the pics are taken?
I love a dial with depth
I guess you could not call the face of RM's a dial but I love the depth of the movement. Its almost like looking into a mini city....
what distinguished RMs from other watches
It's the three dimensionality that distinguished RMs from other watches. With other watches, you have essentially a 2-D view of the dial. With RMs you see so many layers. Eric von Schonberg

I used a Canon point and shoot.
Its actually a very cheap but decent camera. I think I paid less than 200 dollars for it. Its called a power shot SD1100 is. cheers Matthew
