I could not have said this better myself - had the same combination with
my RM005, made the same experiences and today I wear my RM011 with the
vented rubber strap. I saw a picture with many additional straps in
different colors in this Forum - think it was from the London Boutique
opening - and in either case - some more strap alternatives would be
great - but in the end RM´s watches remain the star roles 
...As for
me , I will keep an eye out for the kevlar/velcro strap for my RM011...
we´ll see -

I've also asked that several times...
And I think RM will, one day, release a croc with a thicker portion integrating into the case like the vented rubber ones. Perhaps, slits or holes on croc would look stupendous too as on some Roger Dubuis pieces and the infamous RB2 AP in titanium.

Yes Chris, I totally agree on your point. A thick croc strap would be great. My opinion on why they still haven't done it: either they have tried and decided it does not look as good as we think it would, or they are just too busy working on new watch mod...

Yes contact any RM boutique mine normally gets straps in pretty quickly once ordered. For the RM010 I think rubber strap colour's are only Blue, Red, Black, White....I could be wrong though. ...
