this is the Vaucher automatic that has been specially adapted for RM watches.  Hence, what is left is your choice on the style and/or the size of the case.  If money is not a concern, and the larger case fits your wrist, then the RM010 would be my choice.  The RM005 would run it a close second, and third would be the RM016.  That said, there is nothing wrong with the RM016, it is just that to my mind the tonneau case designed from the outset by Richard is now iconic, and that the RM010 movement had been refined over the RM005. 

All a matter of taste in the eye of the beholder, so the choice really is yours.  Good luck.

PS.  A note on the pricing: RM watches tend to hold their value in nominal terms - ie the price from when the watch was bought.  RM005's and RM016's bought some time ago and hence the price appears a great deal in comparison with current list; and it is!

RM005 VS 10 VS 16

I’m looking to buy a RM and I’m stuck on which model I should go for between the RM005, RM10 & RM16. I’m interested to hear from any one that has owned either or all of these models what their thoughts are on them and if they ran into any problems with th... 

I'm no expert in RM and also I don't own one...

But I've handled and tried those RM on my wrist... Out of the three, RM10 is my favorite... One reason is because the tonneau case is IMHO more beautiful than the square case of the 16.. And the 10 has a bigger size compared to the 5.. Also that it is mor...

for a RM10 or 16 as well. RM05 is a tad too small for me. Tried on both the 10 and 16 and they sit well on the wrist. I also tried the ltd ed 10 with green markings and a 24hr indicator at top right. Am in 2 minds because I like the 10 in the signature ca... 

RM16 not much love!

I havent seen the RM16 in the flesh yet but will be next week! I like the RM005 and RM10 but I think the RM16 has a more modern and elegant look to it (from the pics ive seen) however it seems the RM16 doesnt get much love on here from what I have read

I was faced with the same issue before my first rm purchase... And after some consideration and discussion, I finally got myself rm10 over the other models. Here's the thing, the size of rm05 is relatively too small for a guy who wears 44mm panerai for hi...

Keep in mind the 16 has no date and is a different statement that the RM10/5 which is essentially the same watch but the 10 is bigger. You really must try them on before you decide because the 16 is the biggest and most legible, then the 10 which is too t...
