My Hommage came back from the spa. It is, practically, brand new. My question is how do I know that it is still regulated within the Besanon Observatory limits. Can I be sure of that or shall I only be proud that my watch has the technical capacity of be...  

Since it has been serviced, there is no chronometry certificate anymore, in my opinion. Except if it has been tested, once again, by the Observatory, but in this case, you would have a paper... Best, Nicolas

So I am left with the pride of owning a beautiful chronometer grade watch and the hope the Roger Dubuis technicians did their best in regulating it. Best, Radone

This is an absolutely beautiful watch, one of my favourite chronograph. It looks like the 40 mm, right? Now, I have never seen these hands on this model before, did RD have different model hands for the Hommage Chronograph? Again, congratulations. Cheers ... 

Thank you, Francois! You probably know that RD at that time had series limited to 28 pieces, therefore dials and hands had a quite large variety of combinations. I haven't seen my type of hands in many watches either. Leaf hands are most I've seen in old ...

For me RD was never on my radar as I had only known the more outlandish models of recent time. Seeing your H40 has triggered a deep pang and need to find an old school H37 or H40. WHAT A BEAUTY! I'm completely smitten...boy oh boy....the hunt starts NOW. ...

7 months is a long time. Mine took 4 months. A fine piece in every way and a classic that stands the test of time! All I can say is, they don't make them like they use to. ;) cheers fernando
