Those were the previous generation of automatic movements based on Lemania.

... in which I proclaimed that the art of enamel miniature painting has degraded since the invention of photography! Contrary to the other enamel miniatures on watch dials I have seen presented until today, these Dubuis dials can easily compete with even ... 

Although photography can capture "reality" perfectly, it still leaves much room for the designs of "fantasy" to flourish. With the exception of the sailboats, the other two designs have strong "fantasy" themes, and I believe that fantasy-style designs are...
