You are absolutly right, but may be of the end of the day, Rolex is Rolex and Tudor is (only) Tudor. The Rolex hype is crazy.
Yesterday i saw all the James Bond watches here, so many brands, but we only talk about James Bond Rolex. Now after so many years, also a little bit of Omega, but i cannot see an Omega hype.

I keep care of my family heirloom vintages and enjoy the 5digits refs ,TBH in the vintage world the prices are just silly more specially with the widespreadof fakes, semi fakes ,molested pieces .I don t have the time to check every single parts of a watch...

I ve just read the on the german forum on a Daytona ,120k and finally turned out a piece of crap :-(and tge seller was a well known name .PP maybe more safe you can send it for repair and they tell you even any of screws are not matching but PP in vintage...
