What did your wife dislike?
I like this because the colour is similar to the older DDs that had a similar dial. But the yellow and blue are more vibrant, perfect watch for in the summer, flashy, not so toned down. Plus this one is difficult to match up with clothing. That's something I have in my mind.

Funky colorful OP 41mm on the wrist, kind of a Stella dial effect. I was able to try it on the wrist and I have to admit it is very comfortable and pleasing to take a look at. Not for everyone I guess though ! ...

I have a large wrist and 36 looks a little small to my taste. The 41 mm does not look as big as one may think. The proportions are excellent, better than the 41 DJ in my opinion

My wife did not approve the color unfortunately but I will give this model another try in the future. I was also able to try a 36 mm grey dial with yellow gold indices, however this funky color really caught my attention

Too red, outside of the usual and classic colors...
But like you it reminded of the stella dial on the day dates ! The red has a 70’s vintage look that really impressed me, it was hard to take it off

That's the exact same feeling I have. It's so 70s looking. I'm thinking about NYC, movies like Taxi Driver, that whole vibe. The yellow and blue feel really recent/modern, the coral one is old school. I hope I can try one out really soon.

I would say red...
Orange as the dial changes color depending on the light available: it can go dark red as well, it is a very interesting Watch with the easy link. I am really tempted but not as a dress watch more as a casual one
